Scout Youth Foundation
The Foundation was established in 1991 to help ensure that Scouting is accessible to all young New Zealanders now and in the future and ensure project longevity. Members can donate annually, give a lump sum or pledge a bequest, and their financial support helps build a long term endowment fund. Capital funds are then skilfully managed and invested so that the Foundation is able to generate and release an annual allocation for the benefit of Scouts across the country.

Scout Youth Foundation Brian Cunningham Scholarships 2016/17 - Eight scholarships awarded
The SYF has annual Scholarships to assist financially disadvantaged youth attend Jamboree, National Schools or Regatta. Thanks to the generosity of additional donations to the Scholarships Fund, we were able to award 5 scholarships for this year’s jamboree attendance and 3 scholarships for the National Regatta in December. Sadly, constraints on funds mean that we have only been able to fund some of those who submitted strong cases for support.
Further donations to the scholarship fund can help make a big difference for our youth members. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to discuss making a donation.
