    Volunteer Roles:

    Scout Youth Foundation - Trustee (Investments)

    A vacancy has arisen for the appointment of the Trustee (Investments) of the Scout Youth Foundation. The Investments Trustee, through the Chair, facilitates periodic review of the Statement of Investment Policy and Objectives (SIPO), and also reviews from time to time, investment opportunities being considered and presented by the SYF’s Funds manager to support the SIPO. Among the skills and experience required are a genuine desire to help and support Scouts NZ, preferably (but not necessary) have a Scouts background and be sympathetic to the aims of the Scout Movement.

    Behind the scenes of the Jamboree are a bunch of committed, experienced and dedicated volunteers. These people help with the operational side of the Jamboree, helping to ensure the delivery of an amazing experience for all the Scouts and Leaders who attend. This is a great opportunity to use your business nous or personal expertise to become involved in the Jamboree at a management level.

    We are looking for people with varying skills to be able to manage a team of volunteers to enable us to deliver a fun and safe Jamboree to our youth.
