Over 170 Rovers attended the 67th annual Rover Moot held in Auckland in April 2009, and hosted by a number of Auckland-based Rover Crews.  Moot is an Ancient English word for 'gathering'.

At the Moot, Rovers undertook various different Service projects including painting a preschool classroom, weeding, gardening and other maintenance at local Helensville schools. Moot activities included pin-the-jaffa on the sky tower, tyre verticle bungy, potatoe sack races, tug-of-war games, cross country running, and a performance by NZ band Diesel Phoenix. The theme nights were SCOUTRAGEOUS FORTUNE, Ponsonby Vs. South and the F is for Formal dinner and award presentation on the final night.
