UL are our largest Programme Partner. Through this partnership SCOUTS New Zealand have access to the world class Safety Smart® programme which provides quality, on message DVDs and take home material for our Keas, Cubs and Scouts across the country. Safety Smart® covers a wide range of relevant subjects, one of which will be included in the SCOUTS National Programme on an annual basis.
‘It is our hope that the relationship will continue to develop, spreading other safety messages to Keas, Cubs and Scouts throughout New Zealand in future years.’
Ken Wilson, General Manager UL Australasia
Champion Freight are our newest Programme Partner. As a Kiwi owned freight forwarding company that specialises in sea freight, they have pledged to offset their carbon footprint by planting 1 tree per container they ship. In order to do this they have partnered up with us and our teams across the country will take part in tree planting events over the coming years. Champion Freight will also sponsor our Scouts Conservation Badge thus encouraging more of our members to learn about and care for the bush that we as Scouts love so much.
‘We are delighted to partner with Scouts New Zealand to bring Trees for Containers to life, a unique programme which will see one native tree planted for every container the company exports’
Murray Gain, Director, Champion Freight
