The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional Development Manager to ensure the development and growth of SCOUTS in the Upper North Island region. In order to perform the role you will have a clear focus on engagement in the community and marketing the brand SCOUTS in order to achieve growth targets.

Jamboree Executive Team for the 22nd New Zealand Scout Jamboree
We are looking for some special people – 7 in total, who are enthusiastic about the Scout section and the contribution that Jamborees make to Scout growth and development. In addition to the Jamboree Director (Guy Beatson), the Jamboree Executive Team (JET) will be made up of:
- A Deputy Jamboree Director to support the Jamboree Director.
- Three Directors leading directorates covering all the services provided to Scouts, supporting infrastructure and a range of corporate services.
- Three Deputy Directors to support the Directors.
The JET will be supported by an Executive Officer and a small team.
There will be a number of sessions held at the 21st Jamboree for those interested in these roles. The sessions will give potential JET members an idea of what is involved, the time commitment and nature of the roles.
